Ordinary Membership > Ordinary Membership Explained
Ordinary Membership requires that you own a shop with a window on the street and which displays clearly priced stock. This membership allows you to display the National Association of Goldsmiths Grant of Arms on your stationery and in your shop window. Ordinary Membership means that you are a full voting member of the N.A.G. All applicants must agree to the Association's Code of Practice which must be signed and returned as part of the application process.
As a voting member you might from time to time be asked to sponsor membership applications of the N.A.G. before they are taken to the Membership Committee. The short form that will be sent to you by the membership department requires that you have met the applicant and have seen the shop. This could mean that a visit to the shop is necessary.
