NAG ENJOY SUCCESSFUL IJL
The NAG enjoyed another triumphant IJL with the successful re-launch of its Professional Jewellers’ Diploma and the unveiling of the new membership category logos.
Education and Training Chairman Mark Adlestone introduced the new look course on Monday 7th September with a sherry and mince pie reception on the Association’s stand, bedecked with full Christmas tree and Christmas presents, highlighting that Christmas is too late to train your staff.
Surprisingly, the early festive start went down well with IJL visitors.
“People really seemed to enjoy themselves drinking sherry and eating mince pies at the beginning of September” said Victoria Wingate, Education and Training Manager. “Of course all the decorations are just a bit of fun to get retailers really thinking about their training needs”
Visitors also responded well to the new membership logos on view for the first time as well as the customary champagne always available on the NAG stand during the busy show week.
“It was as usual another positive week both for us and the industry” said Michael Hoare, CEO of the National Association of Goldsmiths.
