N.A.G. APPOINTS MANUFACTURER AS NEW PRESIDENT

Podcast

The National Association of Goldsmiths has appointed a manufacturer as their President for the first time.  Patrick Fuller, who is the Chairman of Weston Beamor Limited, will replace Robert Croydon as the Association’s figurehead for the next 2 years.

“It was a surprise, but an honour to be offered the position of NAG President “said Patrick Fuller. “The N.A.G. stands for integrity, and I look forward to supporting that integrity”.

Patrick Fuller is one of the most progressive thinkers in the UK Jewellery Industry and started the Domino range in 1983 after identifying an opportunity for a comprehensive range of jewellery components for working jewellers.  Domino is now a major brand and supplier of Diamond Ring Mounts, Wedding Rings and Jewellery components to over 5000 customers across Europe.  Patrick is Warden of the Birmingham Assay office, a member of the Regional council for the CBI, a Freeman of the City of London and a Liveryman of the Goldsmiths Company.

“As a trade worldwide we are unique, firstly for the things we make and sell, but secondly for the many people within the industry.  We have a number of multiple jewellers and we also have third, fourth and fifth generation family jewellers, however, it is the individuals who make this trade unique and who have a passion for jewellery” added the new President.
