Practical Diamond Grading This intensive two-day 'hands on' seminar is designed primarily for retailers of diamond jewellery and will develop your knowledge of practical diamond grading and gem diamond quality. Topics covered will include: identification, treatments, clarity grading, colour grading, symmetry and proportions and cut grade determination, carat weight estimation, current diamond economics and corporate social responsibility issues. A comprehensive range of diamond qualities, simulants, treatments and synthetics will be available for examination and a full set of seminar notes will be given.
