N.A.G.'S EXECUTIVE DEVELOPMENT FORUM ANNOUNCES FIRST OXFORD CONGRESS
The National Association of Goldsmiths has announced the first Executive Development Forum Congress to take place in Oxford. The event, which will take place on 23rd July 2009 at Egrove Park, is a unique event within the jewellery industry and provides the opportunity for business professionals to consider what is happening in and around jewellery retailing.
The EDF Oxford Congress will be facilitated by Mike McGraw of Development Initiatives Ltd and will include guest speakers Chris Ward, Dr Colin Wallace and Jeff Caplan discussing a range of issues from human behaviour and team working to Tiger Kidnap.
“Running a jewellery shop can be a lonely business and the N.A.G. is here to support owners and proprietors, however we have taken this idea to another level through the Executive Development Forum, which encourages already forward thinking business owners and executives to reach greater heights of sophistication. The EDF Oxford Congress is an important milestone in the progress of the initiative, bringing together powerful personalities and generating exciting ideas. Don't get left behind!" said N.A.G. Chief Executive Michael Hoare.
The Executive Development Forum consists of groups of 8-10 people in different regions. The groups meet 6 times a year and each meeting focuses on a topic relevant to the group and are aimed at owners, directors and managers of retail jewellers who are serious about their business, its future financial success and their reputation.
